Good Roads Warehouse Retrofit
Challenge:
Good Roads, a high volume wholesale distributor of automotive wheels in Fort Lauderdale, Florida wanted to improve the lighting in their warehouse. The existing High Pressure Sodium light bulbs were dim and made it difficult to differentiate various products leading to order fulfillment mistakes. In order to minimize costs Good Roads Management preferred to retrofit the existing lights if possible.
Solution:
Superior Lighting proposed retrofitting their existing high bay light fixtures to high output Metal Halide bulbs. These metal halide lights emit a crisp white light that is extremely energy efficient. The 250 Watt MH retrofit bulbs supplied could be screwed into the existing fixtures without even changing the ballast. Thousands of dollars in labor costs were saved.
